Toy Musical Instruments

Toy musical instruments are great learning toys as they allow children to have fun while they benefit from the advantages of playing music, often at a faster pace than with a real instrument. Your first step is to nurture a love of music in your child. It’s all about having fun.

As we know learning a musical instrument takes time and commitment. And often the rewards of playing are not felt until a degree of skill has been achieved, and quite a lot of time and money spent. Many of us just don’t get that far!

It is the sense of joy of creating music that quality toy musical instruments can give children.

They can get lessons later; what they need first is a love of music. So keep it fun!

Good toy musical instruments help children enjoy themselves playing music and may help encourage them to move on to the real thing. Plus it saves money it this transition doesn’t happen.

However the toy musical instruments have to be quality. We’ve reviewed toy guitars that allow children to strum, hammer, palm and learn basic scales and notes; a toy piano that teaches chords; percussion instruments that allow songs to be played using color coding, drums that sound fantastic whilst withstanding the rigors of toddler play!
